What is hemp seed oil good for?

Hemp seeds have a ton of great health-promoting properties. They’re well known for their essential fatty acid content. They have a balanced mix of omega-6 and omega-3 fats.

Did you know that your brain is 60% fat? You’ve likely heard that healthy fats are important. But knowing more about the brain’s composition, makes them super important, right? Well, there are lots of foods and ways to get them into your daily diet. And hemp seed oil happens to be a great choice.

It’s also a fantastic plant protein because 25% of its calories come from protein. Also, studies show the hemp seeds have better digestibility compared to other plant-based proteins like legumes, nuts, or grains.

What is CBD oil good for?

CBD oil has many great uses. It’s not known for one single stand out quality, because it has several. That’s why it’s so popular among a large demographic of people. Some people take it for pain, or to increase relaxation, while others take it before going to bed. Then there are those looking to improve their general state of well-being and they use it daily for that reason.

We can’t say what CBD can do, because the FDA restricts anyone from making health claims. So, we’re simply sharing some of the most common reasons people take CBD oil.

Also, from our own experience and our customers’ experience, we’ve seen how CBD oil helps a lot of people. When you supplement with CBD, it has a positive impact on the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). This system makes sure our body maintains homeostasis (internal balance). It’s not an easy job, but with a little help from CBD and certain foods, it makes the job much easier.

Is it safe to use CBD oil every day?

CBD was deemed safe by the World Health Organization in 2018 and a study done the same year, found that doses of 1,500mg to 6,000mg of CBD per day were well-tolerated and proven safe. This is a really high amount and not necessary for most people. Average daily doses fall somewhere between 20 to 60 mg of CBD.

Using CBD oil is safe, but it’s best to consult with a trusted health care provider. He or she can help advise on the best dosage for you given your medical history.

Can CBD oil get you high?

The main molecule in cannabis with intoxicating effects is THC. High levels of THC in a cannabis strain, oil, edible, etc, give users a “head high”. However, CBD from hemp naturally has low levels of THC. And to remain compliant with federal regulations, a CBD company can only sell CBD oil with less than 0.3% THC.

This is a small amount and very unlikely to cause any psychoactive effects. The majority of CBD oil users report feeling more relaxed in their body, but that their mind stays alert and focused.

Final thoughts

Hemp seed oil does not contain CBD, but as the name suggests, CBD oil does. If you’re looking to buy a product and you’re not sure whether there’s CBD or not, look at the number of mg of CBD on the product label.

Also, the cannabinoid profile on the lab test (COA) will show you the amount of CBD as well. Ask the company for a copy of this lab report you so can have peace of mind. After all, you deserve to know what you’re buying and what you’re consuming.
