CBD PROPERTIES

One of the first forms of evidence that addressed the therapeutic properties of CBD, was US Patent: 6630507B1. It states: “Cannabinoids (CBD) have been found to have antioxidant properties. This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of a wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants.” Although this patent is 20 years old, information about cannabinoids (CBD) is only now becoming mainstream.

It’s important to note that CBD oil derived from hemp is different than CBD oil derived from marijuana. Although hemp and marijuana are varieties of the cannabis plant, they have very different chemical profiles. Hemp contains a high concentration of CBD (cannabidiol). And in contrast, marijuana has high levels of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). This is the psychoactive compound found in the plant. By definition, industrial hemp is any part or derivative of the plant that contains less than 0.3% THC.

All of Hemp Health One’s CBD products are full spectrum and they contain less than 0.1% THC. Full spectrum oil contains all the compounds that naturally occur in the hemp plant. These compounds include terpenes, other cannabinoids, and flavonoids. The name full spectrum implies that the entire spectrum of compounds in the hemp plant works synergistically to increase the properties and effects of CBD. This is also known as the “entourage effect.”

Finally, our bodies have a distinct physiology, so the experience of consuming CBD will be unique for everyone. Because all Hemp Health One products undergo strict lab testing and quality control measures, every single product maintains a standard of purity, safety and consistency. Meaning, if you buy a bottle of CBD oil this week, you can expect to get the same exact product when you order again in two months.
